VICAM was founded in 1989, started out as a service centre providing repairs of industrial security equipment and domestic products. In 1990, Hagameyer Electronics (S) Pte Ltd appointed VICAM as the authorized dealer for Panasonic Closed Circuit Video Equipment (CCVE). Then in 1993, in recognition of the excellent sales performance, VICAM was appointed by Panasonic Singapore as the Master Dealer.
